cs of Ned Lamont have criticized the wealthy businessman, who spent $16 million of his own money in the Connecticut Senate race, for announcing he is opting out of Connecticut’s public campaign financing program.
Ned said “We stood up to the political establishment.” and “”I’m a big believer in clean campaigns but I’m not going to go into this battle with one arm tied behind my back.” .

Christy Mihos candidate for Governor of Massachusetts

Christy Mihos was appointed to the board of the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority by Republican Governor William Weld. Christy fought against toll increases, fraud and waste at the Turnpike.
Some people in the Massachusetts Republican party felt betrayed by him, and the then Republican governor, Jane Swift attempted to fire him. Christy fought back and retained his position on the board. Was this a sign of character or a sign of disloyalty? Should this be a relevant consideration for the voters of Massachusetts? Let us know what YOU think.
